When we talk about being clean, we're not exactly referring to the physical part. We mean more of the emotional, mental and spiritual part of it. If you're constantly acting upon detrimental situations then you're constantly going to have that little voice in your head telling you all the things you did wrong. For example, if you decide to go out with some friends and they take you to a mediation session then you're cleansing your spirit and mind in a positive way. Being clean also consists of forgiving yourself and making things right. If you do something harmful and then realize what you did, you're able to forgive yourselves.
5. Be True
Being true to yourself is an important factor when it comes to being happy. As you grow older you start to realize who you truly are and what your goals in life are. When it comes to certain decisions it's important to ask yourself "Is this really what i want" or "Am I doing this for me or am I doing this for someone else". Always stand up for what you believe in. Never let anyone tell you that your belief system is wrong nor let their opinion change the way you think.
6. Be Positive
Being positive is more than a one way street. Not only do you have to learn to be positive to others but to yourself too. A lot of us get so caught up in pleasing others that we tend to forget about ourselves. Being positive isn't just about making decisions. It's knowing whether that choice is going to make you happy or not. It's also very important to treat others with positivity. Although it can be tough, sometimes you have o put you problem aside and put on a positive attitude. The attitude that you decide to carry on is not only affecting you but it also affects your surrounding people and the ones you interact with. For example, if you're having a bad day and you decide to be pessimistic with others, then for all you know they could be having a bad day and you just made it worse. By being optimistic you're adding some type of positive impact to a persons life.
