My Weekend

Image
My Weekend  My weekends was pretty chaotic. First I would like to talk about the wrestling match. The wrestling match took place on Thursday after school at the gym. It was pretty fun, we won all 3 matches. I was really proud of my school. After the match i just went to go hang out with a group of my friends. It was quite joyful. Then on the weekend i got to hang out with one of my favorite people on this planet. We went to the library to read but came upon some conflict which kind of ruined our stay at the library. W came upon a lot of issues that needed resolution and luckily for us we worked things out. then we proceeded to go on a drive which was full of eye opening conversations and sunsets that looked like pure ecstasy. Then we decided that we should go out to eat and so we did. We went to Raisin Canes because that's where he felt like eating. Unfortunately, there aren't many items for me to choose from because of the fact that I'm vegetarian. After that we j...

10 Keys to Personal Power

Image
10 Keys to Personal Power Key 1 ~ Clarity       I think what Brian Tracy was trying to say is that, set a plan for yourself. Have a certain big goal that you're trying to reach. Have all the things you need and want in the clear or in your mind. It's important to prioritize your goals and what is going to impact you more. It helps to keep your end game in mid. What do you want in the end of everything? The first step is to create your vision. Having your vision planned out is an imperative part in obtaining personal power. Key 2 ~ Competence         Competence is all about commitments. You have to be loyal to your plan or else everything might derail. I think it's important to be competent because when you're competent, your journey is soooo much easier for you. You have to master the field you find yourself heading into. This works both ways. In your professional life and in your personal life. If you crave p...

School Break Days

My Winter Break                             During my winter break, I mostly hung out with my boyfriend and went to the movies. I slept over some friends house. I can honestly say it was pretty boring. I did however discover something for myself. I always liked poetry but it wasn't a huge part of my life. Recently i went through a really unpleasant situation. I was just unhappy in every humane way. then I started to read poetry online. Immediately I felt so connected. I read poems about almost everything. I read poems about diversity, feminism, heartbreak, death, life and euphoria. I finally had the guts to start writing poetry. I always had difficulties putting my thoughts onto paper. Then I took all the troubles i was going through and i finally wrote 3 poems. Oh, i also got two new piercings! My sister took me to get my nose piercing and my Industrial Piercing. I'm very pleased with both of them. That's a...

Class Evaluation

Class Evaluation 1.              One of the main things that I like about this class is the fact that it's an easy class to pass. It opens me up more to technology . I'm not a huge computer person, so this class definitely helped me get used to them and especially typing. Another thing that I liked about this class is that it introduces the CTR system to new people. It can help people learn whats right from wrong. This class taught me how to apply my CTR attitude to every other situation I come across. 2.           One of the things that I don't like about this class is the fact that we don't exactly get to choose what we research about. I always wanted to have a class where we can research interesting things that we find interesting. That's probably it. Besides that, I pretty much enjoy this class. 3.       I think what could really improve this class is getting feedback from the students abou...

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People                                                     Habit 1~Be Proactive    "Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seat of my destiny, not just a passenger."           To be proactive, is to finally take charge in your life. It's when you finally show yourself that you're able to be active and productive at the same time. You want to make yourself more involved. Don't waste your time thinking of stuff that you can do, but actually take the first step and do it. That's what this first habit is about. An example of being proactive would be that I have the whole weekend to do what i desi...

Importance of Setting Goals

Image
Important of Setting Goals                 When you set goals, you're kind of setting down your standards and needs for yourself. For most people, it's difficult to start the process of actually meeting those goals. Well when you write down your goals its like your actually attempting a commitment to those goals. When you set goals it helps you plan a future so you don't end up lost later on. Luckily, I already have most of my goals set out. I  also recommend prioritizing your goals. Which ones are more important? Which ones are going to help you in the long run? My goals are based on the career i choose to have. So my main goal at the moment is to graduate because its the most important goal i can achieve right now.
